Charlie accepted Alex's proposal above RAF Henlow during a
barrel roll on Saturday morning, being her birthday she was hoping for a
good day! The surprise didn't stop there - lunch at The Black Horse, Ireland - roses
delivered to the hairdressers in the afternoon - and then with blindfold and
headphones on she was led by the hand to a surprise barbeque with
family and friends at the couple's home in Arlesey.

The couple met at Henlow Flying Club's open day in 2008 - a
certain Mrs Cross had a hand in that! Charlie was a guest of Sue's for
the day.

All at Henlow Flying Club wish Alex and Charlie all the very
best for the future.
