Sunset Displays - Old Warden.

Shuttlworth have started their season of air displays. For those not aware, they also hold evening or sunset displays on a number of saturday evenings thru the summer, the first is on sat 15 may. These are great as they pack in a lot of flying in a short amount of time. Many people go with picnic teas, often see groups of friends etc.... they really make a good night of it !!!! You dont need to take food and drink as the restaurant & shop is open as well as the bar & burger stands. Some even dress the part. Cars park close to runways (get there as early as you can) you have enough space for deck-chairs or blanket on ground etc - You can fly in if you wish. If winds are light they fly the old edwardian aircraft, creating an almost magical/ nostalgic atmosphere in a lovely english country setting. Maybe I'll see you there - Simon.
